Hello, Livingthe8Count Family! It’s been a minute, hasn’t it?
I wanted to reconnect, share what’s happening in my world, and most importantly, say thank you.
Since 2016, Livingthe8Count has been more than a brand or a Facebook group to me. It’s been a place to celebrate Chicago Steppin’, share experiences, ask questions, exchange perspectives, and connect with people who love this dance as much as I do.
Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or joined somewhere along the way, I appreciate you!
So, what’s happening with Livingthe8Count?
Well, we’re not going anywhere. We’re just evolving! I’ve decided to redirect some of the time and energy I’ve poured into the brand toward two things that are especially important to me right now: writing my book about Chicago Steppin’ and building my real estate business.
Our regular group questions are on pause for now, but that doesn’t mean the conversation has to stop. If there’s something you’d like to ask or discuss, please feel free to start a conversation.
Livingthe8Count is still alive. I’m simply exploring new ways to bring our stories and experiences to life.
And about this book I’m writing…
If you know me, you know I’ve got stories!
My book is a personal journey through Chicago Steppin’ and the contests, exploring the people, relationships, triumphs, disappointments, and lessons that shaped my experiences both on and off the dance floor. It’s a story about discovering who you are and embracing your individuality. And I look forward to sharing more about it as the writing progresses.
Speaking of new chapters… I’m building my real estate business!
Some of you may already know that I’ve made another big move in my life. I’m now a REALTOR® in Georgia, serving Metro Atlanta through my real estate and lifestyle brand, Find Your ATL! My focus is helping individuals and families relocating to Metro Atlanta find a community and home that fit the lifestyle they want. I also help Metro Atlanta homeowners strategically price, prepare, and position their properties to attract strong offers and achieve a successful sale.
If there’s one thing my years in the Steppin’ community have taught me, it’s the value of relationships, preparation, timing, and knowing how to make your next move. Funny how those lessons carry over into real estate!
I’d love for you to stay connected as I build this next chapter.
If you’re curious about Metro Atlanta real estate, considering a move, or simply want to support this new venture, I invite you to:
- Visit FindYourATL.com and subscribe to my emails for real estate insights, community highlights, and practical advice from my perspective.
- Follow @findyouratlga on Instagram or Facebook for a behind-the-scenes look at Metro Atlanta communities, real estate tips, and the journey of building my business.
- Keep the Livingthe8Count conversation going. Have a question, a memory, or a story about Chicago Steppin’ or anything else you’d like to share? Reply to this email. I’d love to hear from you!
And if you know someone planning a move to Metro Atlanta or considering selling a home here, I’d be grateful if you’d pass my name along.
This isn’t goodbye. It’s see you a little later.
I believe there are seasons when we create, seasons when we share, and seasons when we need to step away from the familiar to make room for something new. This is one of those seasons for me.
Livingthe8Count isn’t disappearing. The love for Chicago Steppin’ hasn’t changed. And neither has my appreciation for the people who have supported this brand over the years.
To everyone who has supported Livingthe8Count since 2016, thank you for reading, commenting, sharing, participating, challenging perspectives, and helping build a community around something we love. I don’t take any of it for granted.
Here’s to new chapters, new opportunities, and continuing to grow together. We’re not done. We’re just elevating!
With love and appreciation,
Sonji Stewart
