Discover Chicago Stepping, the adult choice of dance. Stepping is a social partner dance that originated in Chicago, Illinois. There are many variations of Stepping, and people of all ages love to step. We primarily dance to the classics, soul, jazz, and R&B music. You’ll fall in love at first glance! Chicago Stepping is not line dancing or the historical African American stepping done by fraternities and sororities. If you want to learn more and be a part of it, join us!

We are a nationwide community of steppers, walkers, and boppers dancing across multiple cities in the USA and teaching the dance across generations.
